Tropenbos International started in 1986 as a Dutch non -governmental non-profit organization, and in 2017 it became a network of independent member organisations.
Tropenbos International works in more than ten countries in the south, among others in DR Congo, Ghana, Vietnam, Colombia…

The mission of Tropenbos International is to improve the governance and management of tropical forests for the benefit of people, biodiversity and sustainable development.
