CIFOR-ICRAF

CIFOR-ICRAF – Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and World Agroforestry (ICRAF) – is an international institute with expertise in the protection and conservation of water resources: ICRAF carries out scientific and technological research, and develops and disseminates know-how. ICRAF aims to change the way land and renewable resources are used, and how food is produced.

CIFOR-ICRAF has been present in Mali since 1989 and has acquired decades of experience and expertise in bringing new trees into cultivation and improving the cultivation of existing trees.

As a partner of Join For Water, ICRAF is mainly involved in agro-agriculture and reforestation. ICRAF aims to test and choose the technical and methodological options that best suit the context.
