Green Keeper Africa

Green Keeper Africa wants to counter the spread of the invasive water hyacinth with expert solutions. The organisation looks for a useful use of the hyacinth, with pollution control and agro-ecology as guiding principles. GKA is active in the south of Benin, in the Ouémé and Mono valleys, among others.

Specifically, GKA trains groups that collect the water hyacinth and seeks to process it into a useful product. Another activity is setting up distribution channels for this product.

Green Keeper Africa is the partner of Join For Water for this particular activity.
