Great news! Join For Water’s 2024 Annual Report was approved at the General Meeting on 20 June. It shows concrete results and puts our heroes in the spotlight: our employees, our many partners and, above all, the communities in Mali, Benin, DR Congo, Burundi, Uganda, the Andes and Belgium.

Some figures

In a world where access to clean water is still not a given, Join For Water makes a difference. Not with big words, but with concrete actions. In 2024, 16,485 people gained access to drinking water closer to home, 131,611 hectares of nature were protected, 1,310 people received improved latrines and awareness campaigns reached more than 33,000 people in Belgium. Behind these figures are stories of courage, cooperation and commitment.

Colleagues, partners, farmers, families… they are all heroes.

From women in Mali and Uganda who support not only their families but also their communities, to young people in Belgium who learn what water (in)security means through exchanges with Burundi. From our colleagues and partners in Africa and the Andes who dream of justice, to Flemish changemakers who make sustainability tangible. They are the heroes of Join For Water.

In our 2024 Annual Report, we put some of these heroes in the spotlight, because without them, change is not possible.
